EVH makes Golf Digest's Top 100 Golfers in Music
Tought I'd take a detour from the reunion talk for a minute....
In the December '06 issue of Golf Digest they rank the top 100 musician golfers by handicap.
EVH tied for 64th on the list with a handicap of 18. Others tied for 64th include Mick Fleetwood, Vince Neil, Steve Miller and Snoop Dogg.
The top two were Kenny G. with a handicap index of +0.6 and Vince Gill at 0 (scratch).
A handicap of 18 means that EVH typically shoots 90 on a par 72 course.
90-72=18. A handicap of 0 means that you shoot par, or 72. In Kenny G.'s case, a positive handicap means that he typically shoots under par on any given day.
At least I can say that I'm almost as good a golfer as EVH...my handicap is about 20.
Here's hoping that he doesn't have time to work on his game next year and that his handicap goes up.
