I lost my Mom 12 years ago today to lung cancer.

I lost my mother 16 years ago to liver cancer and for me, it's not that it gets easier (because it doesn't at all), but the pain lessens just a tiny bit so that I'm able to smile at her memory more easily with each passing year. I'll be thinking about you today, Vike.

So sorry. Time makes it a bit easier to deal with but it never goes away. Your mother was very beautiful, btw.

It's been 34 years since my mom passed away, in October.
In January, it will be 7 years since my dad passed away.

Wow, bro, that's REALLY sad, but very lovely that you devoted a thread to her, very nice gesture man. I know what its like to lose a loved one, just nothing like a mom. At least you're striving on well, which is what matters most.

I think I do a thread for my Mom every year. I do miss her and even after 12 years I still lose it every now and then.

I actually have a webpage dedicated to her on my site, but I have a lot of work to do on it. It's a hard thing to do.

Thought I'd posted already, but I guess I didn't - not sure what to say, but glad your mom meant so much to you that even today you still find ways to memorialise her. If you have children someday, hope you are the kind of parent that they feel the same way about you.
