Here's an idea!!

As a frequent visitor and long time Van Halen fan I have been as frustrated as everyone else regarding the current situation of the band. This is my first post so be kind.

To me the solution to the problem seems so simple that somebody has probably already mentioned it before. I understand that the band would never accept this idea because it is too logical, however here is goes:

The best way to solve disputes in any business is usually through arbitration. Within the Van Halen fan base you probably have all kinds of successful business people (even some of those lawyers that are being used as the current excuse). I say find 5 of these fans/business people, sit them in a room with Dave, Eddie, Alex and Mike and let them hear both sides of the story including facts and figures. Give them 1 week to work out a fair deal for all parties and let the band start making music.

I know it's a fantasy world but I bet it would work. Anything is better than what the band is doing now. Keep up the great work in the forums.

As a project manager, I'd love to sit in on that shit. I'd have no problem keeping minutes, setting milestones and making sure they are met, and just overall making sure its a success. I'm sure esquiretoo (vhlinks prosecuter) would be keen to the idea as well. Who else?

what exactly would Sammy's interests be at a round table with ed, mike, al, and Dave? I'm all about having a fair shake for all, but I'm afraid sammy's interests could throw a big wrench in the proceedings. The objectives would be simple. Album and Tour.
