Q104.3 NY Says Michael Anthony is Out?!??

Yesterday, 11/3 Q104.3 announced that Michael Anythony is officially out of Van Halen??

Did anybody hear this, is it official??

I'm not sure what to think, i'd be really pissed if he is officially out of the band, I know they have some blad bood, but fix it damit....Mike has always been the secret weapon for the band and nobody can replace his playing or vocals!!!

Wait for the official announcement.

If it turns out Mike's canned, I think we fans should consider flooding the VH management offices with mail. If people care enough.

Not much else we can do about it.

I could be wrong but there probably just recycling the same rumors we've been readin' on the net. Mind you, the powers that be over at Howdy Doody mountain should either confirm or deny the rumor. You'd think they'd wanna stave off anymore negative publicity.

Radio stations get their info. the same way we do. While it's looking more and more likely, don't listen to the media.... wait for the official announcement.

I was thinking of the comment Ed's publicist/girlfriend made at the party he hosted for the movie premiere. She said that the project of Ed, Al and Wolfie was definite, and that Ed was open to working with Dave down the road.

I'm wondering if everyone's perception of Wolfie being "in the band," is actually him working on tracks in the studio for this project. That might be as far as his involvement goes. If they are really talking with Dave about touring, it might be that Ed's waiting to talk to Mike until it's a done deal. I can see it if Ed would consider hammering out a deal with Dave to be the biggest hurdle, which it surely would be. Maybe he's waiting until that's set before he approaches Mike. Afterall, they've been down that road with Dave a few times, and it hasn't panned out.

I don't know...just a thought.

Radio stations jump to announce rumors as truth faster than people on any forum do. I've heard DJs say that Roth and Hagar are in and out of the band every two or three months since early 2000, and I barely listen to the radio.
