    Default Van Halen in The Charm School

    Ok, so I'm reading a spy novel set in late 80's Soviet Union called The Charm School by Nelsen DeMille, and Van Halen is mentioned a couple of times as a band that played a concert in the Soviet Union. I was wondering if anyone knew if this actually happened, or if it's make believe. It would have been around the time of OU812.
