This is if all the rumors are true....

Dave is so proud of classic VH, the music, everything they created, says it's inevitable that a reunion will happen. But, according to a post I read recently (can't remember if it were here or at the Army) Dave said he would be ok with another bass player although he would prefer it to have Mike because of BG vocals.

This pisses me off if this is true. He should be fighting to get him in! THIS IS CLASSIC VAN HALEN for Christ's sake! This is what you wanted and know you're saying we can go with somebody else. What bullshit! We can finally have a reunion and the only guy who most fans think is the most normal one in the band is on the outs....UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE!

mike is not in on this reunion.we've heard this all before on this but i have it on good word from a very reliable source that wolfgang will be on bass.and that now eddie and alex are waiting for dave to agree to the terms.just my 2cents i think dave is 100 percent in regardless of whos playing bass.i say just us moog taurus bass pedals if your not going to have mike.

I think things are going to settle down... people will do some thinking... and Mike will be back. Ed seems to be dishin' out juvenile tough love right now, ("Mike can only have friends that I have!!!"), but Wolfgang just doesn't make enough sense.

Then again, neither does the world's greatest guitarist doin' porn music.

Dave will rejoin regardless. He'll only be doing it for himself, period. Ed and Al are not doing it "for the fans" either. Though they don't need it, it's money. Period. If it wasn't, they'd put an album out first. They're cashing in.

Also, don't think for one minute that Mikey will be there. I doubt he's even been called yet.

Logic dictates it'll be a summer tour next year, with Wolfie on bass. I don't have lots of scratch, but I'd make that bet.

Ed, Al, Dave and Wolf, summer 07. Van Halen. Yippee.

Maybe dave should just keep quiet for now or the brothers might get all pissed off and end the whole thing and Van halen will go back to doing what the have been for almost ten years... nothing.
