    Stadiums or Arenas?

If VH does get back together do you think they will be playing stadiums or arena's?

What are your predictions for opening acts?

Welp, I say if anything, I wouldn't expect anything like the 04 tour.
I say arena's for starter's to test the waters. East 2 West. Then hit a few small venues. Make there way to the West and so on. Then, If there is a postive response and Ed and Dave are actually getting along or rather Alex and Dave are getting along maybe a stadium or two. Without Mike and Wolfie in the spot light, House of Blues the entire tour, with opening acts that are part of today's mainstream but somewhat relevant to today's music.

But then and again, it's Van-Halen. For all we know, it could be anything like the 82 tour to Bit's and piece's of anything they ever done. It's anyone's guess. I for one hope it's true and not a rumor.
All songs written and performed by:

Edward Van Halen: Lead Guitars, Backround vocals
    Sammy Hagar: Lead Vocals, Acoustic/Guitars
    Michael Anthony: Bass/ Backround Vocals
    Alex Van Halen: Drums/Percussions/Back Vocals
Sammy Hagars solos available on Geffen
Special Thanks to: Valerie, Wolfie, Sue, Kari,Claudio for introducing the RedRocker to us Al's Harem and kids, Elisha, Taylor, Kama/ all the fans past and present: all recordings done at "5150" where else! A nod and wink to Ed Leffler.
Irving Azoff/ All the staff at Warner Bros. past and present/ Gary Cherone for giving his all/ David Lee Roth for getting us there and oh yea Ray Daniels, for keeping the bathrooms clean during all the performances. Oh yea, your fucking check is in the mail and next time you whip your bullshit on us again, where taking your ass to Cabo and pounding mud up your ass till you cough up sand for the loss of 8 years. nuff said, IT"S 5150 TIME

Arenas probably with one major stadium show at the end in California.

I don't know, hopefully someone better than Shinedown. The Darkness, maybe?

Probably be a one off show at the porno awards in Ed's backyard, Dave will do the BBQ'ing, and Sam will fill in while Dave burns the burgers. Mike will be refilling Sam's tequila glass as Wolfgang bangs out the bass lines.

Only way these guys will play an Arena or Stadium is if THEY are the opening act. Perhaps Bon Jovi will need an opening act in 2007?

Oh yeah, a stadium tour. What like 50,000 to 75,000 per city. That would be a little step up from DLR's 4,000 to 5,000 gigs and VH's last Arena tour with Hagar but what the hell, people on this board are willing to believe almost anything.

Actually, there is a likely concert venue that might as well BE Olo's backyard. It's called "White River Amphitheater".

But I'd rather they played The Gorge myself. Better scenery, less chance of rain. About the same amount of traffic hassle getting in and out.

If they do this, I hope like hell they play THE GORGE. Great, great spot for a show.

That's pretty damned funny. Stadiums?? No chance this band is playing stadiums, if you mean football stadiums like the Stones do.
They'll be lucky to fill up arenas -- but certainly will if well promoted.

In today's sorry assed stage of music, who in the fuck plays stadiums at all?

I do guarantee one thing though... If this thing goes through as suspected, it will be properly marketed and people will come. It will not be some cover up like the "reunion" flop of 2004 where the ads play nothing but CVH tunes only to lure peeps into tarped off arenas with another singer.

It will be and ther's no reason for it not to be a severely hyped and successful tour.

    Arenas only though folks.

    Well, the Stones still do.........

....and Keith wants to know if you got a problem with that!

A Van HALEN reunion in 1997 or 2000 could have easily filled stadiums. If this one is well received and promoted, it could do so.

But as I said, I'll be happy to see them at the Gorge.
