There are too many shitty guitars saturating the market. Cheap labor (low quality control)... cheap parts... most of what's out there is 90% crap. I got shredded in another thread for pointing out the shortcomings of the OLP MM1. I guess if you don't know the difference...

I actually had a student come in to me with this guitar and told me that he thought it looked like mine(I own a 97 quilt-top tobacco burst like eddies from the 98-04 tours) so he bought it. Thing sucks ass, the pickups are muddy and undefined, the edge of the neck feels like you are playing on the edge of a knife and the thing wont stay in tune.

I feel that low end guitars should stop ripping off everyone else and think up a brand new concept instead off plagerising bodies and putting on a different neck............. But that will never happen!!

When i was in HS I worked in a music store that sold Hondos. Remember those pieces of shit? Every one was a copy of a Fender, Gibson, etc.

Yeah, but it's been resolved. The single-cut SEs are back on the market. Actually, i had a Tremonti SE that was pretty good.
