I found this on defleppard.com...
12.19.2001 - VH1 LOOKING FOR PYROMANIA FANS
As we reported on December 10, VH1 is currently working on a show that will focus on various unforgettable albums that have made a considerable impact on various levels; the music industry, the fans, the creators, etc. The first episode of the series, to be broadcasted in the US early 2002, will be about Def Leppard's PYROMANIA album.
According to the producers of the show, most likely being called Ultimate Albums, the basic aim of the show is "to recreate the making of an album retracing the steps from the conception all the way to the release of the album, and the impact it made on everyone associated with it, as well as the fans and the industry.
VH1 is currently looking for fans that are willing to tell them their personal stories related to PYROMANIA. Did the album influence you in any way? What kind of impact did it have on you or anyone you know? Did the album help you through a tough time in life or perhaps inspire you in some way? Is there a certain event in your life that you associate with the album or a particular song? By letting the fans tell their own stories, VH1 wants to show "how music lives, what happens when an album or a song really breaks out and takes over... And then lives on."
So, if the album or a particular song still has a special meaning to you, or if it reminds you of something special years later, or even if it conjures up certain emotions -- contact us at webmaster@defleppard.com now (please put "VH1 PYROMANIA" in the subject line) and we will forward it to VH1. Please note that the producers are considering to include on-camera interviews with some of the fans, but haven't made a final decision on that just yet.
Wouldn't VHI be a perfect album to do this for???[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Yes, they should have something like that for vh. A tribute show where they show their videos and stuff. and their albums IMO.

I definitely would like to see VH1 do a special on a Van Halen album. 'VAN HALEN' would be my #1 choice.

Shit, you think anybody will remember how VHI was made?
More likely, 1984, as that put VH on the "MTV" map, and, really, was their break out album popularity wise.

If we start suggesting they take their cues from Def Leppard, Eddie will probably misinterpret the whole thing, cut off one of Alex's arms and hire those Swedish boy band pedophiles to produce the album.
