    Default Hall of Fame Performance(s)

If this has already been started, forgive me.

So assuming that VH is going to be inducted I was wondering what songs they would play for their performance(s). I'm not sure how exactly it is set up, I think each artist gets to play 3 songs.
Whereas they'll probably play "Jump" (Oh God please NO!) in representation of the Roth era, I'd like to suggest that they play "Mean Street" with Roth singing. This song is a good representation of how great the music was during the those 'classic' years--plus it's a good opportunity for Eddie to show off some of his playing.
Continuing with the assuming, I would think that Sammy would be there as well. I hope that they don't waste a song from the Hagar years on some keyboard-driven, commercial song (Right Now, When It's Love), rather I'd like to hear "Poundcake" or "5150" in representation of this era.
I highly doubt Cherone will be part of this, if he is they can play "Without You." But assuming that he is not, they should play an influential cover song with Roth AND Hagar exchanging verses. Maybe "Rock And Roll" for example. And since this last duet request would probably be a trainwreck, they should make it a short song with minimal words.

Let's put it this way..... Ed is not allowed to bring a synthesizer, or allowed access to any other synthesizers which might be in the building.

In other words, they can play ANYTHING but "Jump". And Panama, I'm sick of that one too.

"I'm the One" would be great. And perfect for the occasion, as the rock n roll hall of fame "shows their love". "Light Up the Sky" would kick ass, though I don't think any of them have touched that song since 1979.

If (God forbid) Hagar shows up, let him sing something like 5150 or Judgment Day. No cheese....

The won't be any Sammy songs. It will only be the original Van Halen. 5150 was only released 20 years ago.

Didn't U2 play newer songs when they got in? I don't think that applies to the band's performance choices.

But U2 has had the same lineup since 1978, so all of their members were eligible when inducted.

This may be considered 4, but I could see:

Eruption (So Ed can show off his greatness)
Running With The Devil (The song that started it all)
Jump (Most well-known hit with Dave)
Right Now (Most well-known hit with Sammy)

Is that a rule at the Hall? The band has always been VAN HALEN since the first album (whether some fans accept that or not)
