Favorite guitar colour

Eddie's guitars have always had some preaty bitch'n colours on them. What is your favorite colour that eddie has used on his guitars?

Mine are:

Trans amber quilt/flame
Red/black striped
Seafoam green

I absolutely loved the Wolfgang in purple, green (like the one he smashed in '04) and sunburst.

That accrilic wolfie is cool. I heard that that only 2 were made but they sounded like they had something missing

Acrylic guitars are usually really heavy and sound like complete ass. They make them because they look interesting.

I own 16 of the Wolfgangs. Since I played and bought my first one in '98 I have yet to find a guitar that sounds/plays/feels/looks as good to me.

I used to think the cherryburst color (like Ed's main Special on the '04 tour) was ugly. I just got a Custom Shop Wolfie with the same color--I can't stop looking at it! I felt the same about the sunburst, then I got one. My favorites are the transparent dark cherryburst (I never saw Ed play one in that color), transparent green, and transparent purple.

andrew, i agree bro.

i refuse to play anything else - its very versatile especially once you get into customizing it for whatever you need it to do.

ivory wolfs for me tho.

My first was an ivory Special. It's got its share of battle scars for sure. Probably my most personally valued Wolfgang...

I've done a lot of customizing in the last couple of years, but my favorite pickup I've put in a Wolf thus far is a SD Phat Cat. (The stock PUs are still easily my favorite, though.)

I always liked the Transparent Amber Quilt Top on both the EBMM and the Wolfgang...

I was holding out for one (I could've purchased the purple one 91000580 earliest known quilt) brand new from American Music in Seattle but passed waiting for the Amber... I got a call from my local dealer, Music 6000 and told me they got one in but it was Transparent Red. If you guys remember right, the red in the pic of the promo ads looked more Fuschia and washed out... I thought "What the Hell?" and went down to see it in person... When I got there, I opened the case and immediately fell in love!

I'll always like the Amber and to me it's Ed's "signature color", but the Tranparent Red will always be my favorite!!!

BTW, one of these days, I'll have my brother bring his digital camera over and take some pics of mine so I can finally post them for all you crazy mofos to see!!!

I used to have an Ivory Wolfie Special. The thing sounded great, and for some reason, I thought it woulda been a good idea to trade it in and pay a bit more $$ for a "Flamed" Purple Wolfie (I realized later that they were Photo FLAMED and felt STUPID for NOT realizing!!!). Man, if only I could have KEPT that guitar! -Red43j

...there were no PHOTOFLAME Wolfgangs. There WAS a Korean-made model that had a quilted maple VENEER, but those only came in Trans Amber, Sunburst, Red, and Blue. No Purple Korean-made Wolfgangs, if I am recalling properly.
