My Mom died an hour ago

My Mom was a life-long smoker. Earlier this year she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She underwent chemo, and almost three weeks ago, underwent surgery. They got all of the cancer (it was not a large tumor, nor had it spread). Unfortunately, complications arose and she died at 4:16 CDT.

I am not one to look for sympathy but for those you who, like me, believe in the Guy Upstairs, please pray for my Dad to give him strength. I know my fellow linkers have big hearts. Thanks.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. You and your family will definately be in my thoughts. Take the time to appreaciate the family you do have and spend it with them.

My mom died from cigs too in 2003....make sure you surround yourself with family and friends and help out your dad. Your mom is always with you in spirit.
