can we try not to fuck this thread up? i'm havin a shit day at work and decided to come home for lunch and read about vh and i see the thread got closed. some of you guys are fucking assholes, plain and simple, and you know who you are. i wanted to relax and read up but nononono...people are dicks. grow up or get the fuck out cocksuckers.

i for one am excited about the possibilitites and the fact that this is a legit rumor. andrew is a cool cat and this is killer news.

Quick before this gets closed up. I am hoping that these rumors of no Mike are just that ..rumors. I would also hope that the ones who are going to ante up for this tour will do so only if it is the original line up. If I am paying for top shelf I want top shelf. That being said...They need to control that drunk guy that was out there in 2004 staggering around incoherantly by 8:00 at almost every venue. Ed was a sad shell of hmself by the end of this tour lets hope that this is not a repeat of past perfomance.

yes i am very happy about about a cvh reunion and really do hope that mikey is there i will be there and you will be there and i hope mikey will be too cause it just won't be the same without mikey now lets do this right and get the old gang back together one more time yeah thank you

Ed owns a business and wants to pass it on to his kid.

Also, Ed can get Wolfie some $$ for himself if he tours with the band. It's a great way to set the kid up for life, and Ed has nothing to lose except the respect he lost from most of you guys 10 years ago anyway.

this will be all about the cash: eddie,alex,dave, and bass player(should only be mike) will go on tour and we'll get a new guitar line,new amp line,new interviews,outrageous ticket prices,etc.i want this tour to happen like any other diehard van halen fan but the reality is its for all the wrong fanbase reasons...we'll get a half assed greatest hits tour period.

The kid still goes to school so this will have to be a summer tour...
If this happens I can finally rest in peace.

I have to be honest, if I'm Ed and I was finally putting the finishing touches on a reunion with Dave, which the majority of my fan base has been relentlessly after me to do for 20 years, and then I came here and started reading some of this crap, I might just say screw it.

For all those concerned with Ed's playing, he was extremely sharp on the CVH tunes both during sound check and on stage in 2004. Further the III tour, when he was finally able to really dig into the CVH catalog, is commonly considered some of his best and happiest performances. Yet before a single note has been played or a single date announced, we have a chorus of people pissing on his playing.

I don't know who's more dysfunctional, VH or it's fans.
