Eddie, Sambora, Etheridge "Get Back"
Did not know if anyone has ever seen this. It was on VH1 around '97-'98-ish. It is a cover of the Beatles' classic "Get Back" with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and Melissa Etheridge doing some fine vocals, and Eddie is behind them smokin' on the guitar.
(Also, Letterman sidekick Paul Schaffer is on keyboards, and Bryan Adams is on guitar and backing vocals. Could have sworn I saw John Mellencamp sitting around the drums but I could be wrong. Just a little hidden gem that I thought someone might enjoy!)

thanks for sharing!
Love that Eddie tone at the end of the song!"I could call it anything, but the only word I can think of is Brown. It's just a warm sound. Warm, big, majestic" - Eddie Van Halen on his Tone
"Van Halen is definitely a ladies band, and I´ve got the Polaroids to prove it". - David Lee Roth
WOLFGANG did the IMPOSSIBLE, he brought back VAN HALEN, DEAL WITH IT.

Actually, Mellencamp, Cheryl Crow and Henley were singing backing vocals. Max Weinberg was on drums and Steve Winwood on keys. That was from the City of Hope benefit. You can see it on the banner behind the drumset.
God Dam, that was badass! Anyone know how to get a copy of that show???http://www.myspace.com/pennydreadfulnj
