The other evening on ESPN's "Pardon The Interuption", Tony Kornheiser (the clueless guy on MNF, yet much better on this show and radio) pointed out a promotional banner at a British soccer game advertising "Borat".

He went on to talk more about the upcoming movie than the game.

Entertainment Weekly had him on the cover as well as wrote an article saying how funny and innovative he is.
For those that don't know, he is one of three characters on Da Ali G Show. I'm a big fan of the show and Borat was the funniest character on the show, but I'm not sure I'm ready for an entire movie on him. The show is hysterical and should be checked out (by people with a sense of humor--who, apparently aren't in this thread).

I heard that Sacha Baron Cohen (the creator) is going to make "Bruno" next. Bruno is the fashionably gay character on the show.

The trailer had me and my business colleagues busting a gut for every one of its 90 seconds. Reviews I've read of the movie have been pretty unanimously stellar. I don't know how it'll go over in the States as Cohen could be said to be taking a swipe at the US, so I wouldn't be surprised if some people over there didn't take it well. The Empire review magazine made a point about how he tackles some pretty major issues in the movie, in between the toilet humour. I will be checking it out when it's released this week.
