Yes, he's been playing an SG for years. By the way, he's 27 years old now. Also, don't for a second think he can't play regular non-slide stuff. He is an amazing finger picker too. Very fast and just amazing phrasing. He has great tone and a very unique style of playing. He doesn't use a pick and actually finger picks with all five fingers. I can't seem to find anything anywhere (except his DVD's which I can't upload) which really shows his non-slide stuff. If you ever get a chance to watch the DVD "Songlines," do so, you'll be amazed at all facets of his playing...It's a real treat to watch him "Split heads" with Warren Haynes when they both tour with the Allman Brothers. Two great players who really like one another and push the evelope of each others playing....

LOL, nah, I'm here listening, and talking too. Thanks for the vids. The guy is obviously a great, hell, incredible guitarist. I just loved seeing him playing an SG, cuz' I just bought one, and have been blown away with the bluesy tone of it. The fingerpicking he does...out of this world. A style all his own, to say the least.
