Blender Magazine Article: Greatest

Every month the magazine does a section called the "Greatest Songs Ever!".

This months whole page article names "Hot For Teacher" as one of the greatest songs ever. "The Word's Best Ode to Homeroom Horniness"

Cool article and a cool pic of the band that I had never seen before. Go Blender!!! Apparantly Alex used his electronic drums on Hot For Teacher, not just on the 5150 album. He programmed his toms to sound like his bass drum to be able to play it in one take. Apparantly, the video, was inspired by Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Yeah, he used electronic drums because 5150 didn't have the room at the time for a full drum kit and everyone else to record. That's why he used them on 1984, 5150, and OU812. Then Ed doubled the size of the studio before F.U.C.K. That's why his drums sound so huge on F.U.C.K. because they're real. Oh, and because Andy Johns produced it.

No electronic drums on OU812...Only 5150..Al liked the sound of them around 1985.He also played them live on the 5150 tour..He only had a few of them on the OU812 tour....

he used Simmons on the 1984 tour as well.

there are actually 2 other VH mentions in this issue...
one article on Osama Bin Laden says he used to listen to VH.
and they also talk about Ed's porn involvement.
not sure if these are all on the Blender website (i think theys till have las month's issue up)
the issue has christina aguilera on the cover (lookin' real good i might add).\
