Amsterdam is not one of my favorite songs, but that was awesome. God, I miss Van Halen.

Yeah, they're tight as hell in that session, but I'm sure Ed would say something about Mikey's playing, along the lines of, ' Mike isn't really playing bass, in fact he's unplugged. That was my choice because Mike really isn't a team player, a brother if you will. So, I had our engineer mix all the bass lines for this tour, which I played myself, and we just placed it into the mix thru a sequence...blah blah blah...'

Damn shame Mikey doesn't get the credit for what he adds, or added I should say, to Van Halen.

But back to the point.......Great show, great times, great fun, great music by VH. Ahh the memories.

I was at both those Toronto 95 shows and they sounded phenomenal both nights. It was really incredible to be able to go to a VH show two nights in a row and they kicked major ass both nights. I really miss VH.

Wow, that must've been amazing. I watched the Toronto PPV Live thing on DirecTV and taped it on VCR. I guess that must've been the second night. Is there full video from the first night out there?

They filmed both nights. I believe it was the second night that was used for the pay per view. Both performances were incredible, so it really didn't matter which one they used. As good as that clip sounds, they sounded so much better live. That really was a great tour-they sounded so together.

It's funny you should post that clip cause I remember thinking the same thing the first time I saw it. I taped it when it was first broadcast on MuchMusic and I constantly kept hitting to the rewind to watch the Amsterdam jam. They also did a nice jam of Pleasure Dome on the Right Here, Right Now video.
