Default Wolfgang Special EXP Tuning Peg Question

    Hi.

I own a Korean Wolfgang Special EXP.

With regards to the tuning pegs / tuners / machine heads, they are the mini Grover chrome ones.
I would like to replace the chrome buttons with white pearloid ones.
I contacted Grover and all they suggested was to pick up some round buttons from their mandolins. I would rather not, since they won't look like the one on now.

Could anyone offer up a suggestion? I don't know if say Gotoh buttons will fit.

Also, if there are some machine heads with the white pearloid buttons out there that will fit the guitar in another brand, I'd love to know about it.

    Thanks!

One noticeable difference between Judas Priest and Metallica...
...Judas Priest only has one gay guy in the band.

    Hi:

I own a lot of Wolfgangs but not an EXP. The pearloid buttons that come on the Wolfgang Standards are made to specifically fit the Schallers, but you could order a set of them and see if they fit. Another thing to try is to search eBay for 'Grover' and 'pearloid' and see if someone makes an after-market version. I replaced the ivory buttons on my black Standard with a different manufacturer's buttons, and they not only fit but were of much higher quality.

Not a whole lot of helpful info there, but ebay does seem to be a place to find an awful lot of otherwise hard-to-find guitar items.
