    Default VH and John Corabi

John Corabi was singing at the gathering...from the short vids I've seen he ain't too bad. I wouldn't mind hearing him take a stab at some more VH vocals, maybe on Ed's solo cd or the subsequent tour?

He kinda looks like DLR too....

You really think Ed is going to tour a solo album? The truth is I think Ed will have trouble even finding a label for a solo project. No one in that business cares who Ed is, they care how many units he can sell. I just don't see it happening. HE will have to get sa distribution deal and do the rest himself. Not very likely in my opinion

Corabi doesn't seem to have that Lead-Singer-Disease.

That would be amazing for a singer to have fronted Motley Crue and Van Halen. He wouldn't be invited to the Hall of Fame inductions for either band, but it would still be cool for him.

It wouldn't be like Sammy Hagar joining VH in 1985, but it would be mildly respectable. There aren't many veteran singers who could fit with VH - but Corabi is one of the few.

And he looks like he eats a little more red meat than Gary Cherone.

It's funny because when Sammy left and I found out DLR wasn't coming back, my original hope was for the boys to pick up Corabi as their next singer. So if he were to work with Edward you would hear no complaints out of me. If you guys like him check out his work with Union, its him and Bruce Kulick from Kiss, they made two pretty kick ass albums.

I just posted in another thread, but to let you guys know that isn't John Corabi in the pics and singing in the vids, from one of the articles I read it's Eric Dover from Jellyfish and Slashes snakepit. Corabi is in the vid though, he's playing guitar and singing background vocals wearing a blue shirt. I know for awhile that's what he did with Ratt, just play rhythm guitar.

    SOME VH LINKS CLASSICS

"Sammy is fat, Dave is bald, Mike is next in line to be the Pope, Eddie is a drunk, Wolfie is fat, Gary is gay, CVH is VH, Mike is VH, Sammy can outsing Dave on a tequilla hangover, Eddie is a meth head, How Many Say I is the worst VH song ever, Up for Breakfast is a close second, Dave was horrible at radio and everybody hates the assless chaps.
Ok I think that covers everything." Ziggysmalls

"I sense that some of our newer passengers may be nervous due to the sudden turbulence. Please be seated, this is simply a normal part of the periodic ride.
I didn't say we'll get to the destination, but until Alex comes out a says what a complete waste of carbon DLR is, we're still climbing, so strap yourselves in.
Those of you who have been on this ride before, the hottie in the mini will be around shortly with your drinks......." Red

Yup. That "Live From The 10-Spot" deal on MTV was the first "exposure" to the fellow's...uh..."unique" form of prancing about on a stage, along with the classic shots of an obviously uncomfortable Alex Van Halen.

Not to mention the weird gestures during the introduction to "Fire In The Hole", wherein he somehow directed his finger (and the audience) toward his bunghole.

That's not John Corabi, though. It's some dude from the Jellyfish and Slash's Snakepit... http://www.purplescarf.com/

Corabi was the other guitar player.
