If Ed was so mad at Mike on the 04 tour why did he kiss him
on the cheek during this video?

It's probably like a marriage. Some people fake the love pretty good in public.

Performing on stage might be sort of like making love to the wife you hate. You don't get along, but it can be pretty fun in the sack.

No way he was faking it, guys. At the Buffalo show early in the tour, those guys were tight. All of them. All hugging, smiling at each other, acting goofy and cheering each other on. Whatever problem those guys had off stage (if any at that point) was immediately gone once they were in front of the audience. Not because they were good actors, but because of the overwhelming response from the crowd. Buffalo was absolutely nuts as was Toronto when I went. They all felt it and the love spread. Eddie teared up because of it. Those moments were special. He could've very well been drunk, but I have a feeling he's an emotional drunk. In moments like this, he'd probably let out everything and apologize for how much of a dick he's been. I bet he actually has. Unfortunately, those moments end after the concert.

There were a lot of hugs and kisses on the '04 tour. I think it's safe to assume they were indeed sincere, but all four guys were probably very aware they needed to demonstrate to the crowd(s) that it was not just about money or whatever. When the music was happening and the crowd was present, that was when we saw the true VH.

The first leg was pretty decent and the energy level was high. But as the shows went on you could see the tension building. Jekyll and Hyde tour for sure.

The same question should be asked to Mike, he kissed Eddie at the LA show, and now they say shit about each other.

Their biggest mistake was not trying to solve their differences from the beggining of the reunion.

This video just makes it clear that deep inside they do care for each other.

Time will tell if they can get along together once again.

Since the radio premiere of the Balance album. I remember Sam saying why are you guys (Ed and Al) sitting way over there. The tensions were evident throughout the evening. At the time I just thought Ed was being shy..guess I was wrong.

There was love on the first part of the tour, I think. Ed kissed Mike on the temple at the Grand Rapids show, right in front of me! It was a thing to behold. Ah, I was so naive. During Mike's solo, Ed came out next to the drum kit to do something with his wires and cords, and gave us the thumbs up since we were all yelling at him. Then he pointed at Mike and finished what he was doing. I think that showed some respect for Mike.

Guess that doesn't exist now, but...

Perhaps it more a matter that Edward doesn't hate Mike as a person but he doesn't care for some of his actions. I get that way with my kids. I love them to death but I get disappointed in their actions when they do something they absolutely know they are not suppose to do. I mean, come on, how could you not like Mike as a person.

Ummm to me it looks questionable if Ed really even kissed him. Ed could have said something in Mike's ear as well and it just looked like he kissed him. Just a thought.
