A very interesting comment from Eric Martin. Go to metal-sludge.com (excellent site) and check out their "20 questions with Eric Martin".
At one point they asked him "What's the biggest misconception about EVH?"
His answer was: "That he's down for the count. Edward's still a strength to be reckoned with."
We may not have seen the end of VH just yet...
Now how does Eric Martin knows about that, well it opens a whole new can of worms...
