Every 80s hair metal band had a Dave clone on vocals and an Eddie clone on guitar, there are just too many to mention. It's flattering to Van Halen that they had so many copycats, but unfortunately VH sometimes gets lumped in with Poison and the Bulletboys.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.
Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"
David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Believe it or not, we all played like that in 1979 (at least in my area).
Thanks for the Black Oak doing "Jim Dandy To The Rescue", it sure brought back some memories. If you notice, you'll see a young Tommy Aldrich on drums before he left for Pat Traverse and ultimately, Ozzy."The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man."George Bernard Shaw
