Im a huge fan, since 79 and sadly no one really cares any more except us vhlinkers. Could you imagine the press ED would have gotten if he did the porno music back in 91, even as late as 95.Not even a mention on the news
I really dont think the general music public would even think an album with Roth would be a big deal, for us yes, What do you think?

I think an album would make a lot of news, but it obviously wouldn't be like it could have been in '96.

Still, the VH fan base (overall) would welcome a new Roth fronted album & tour. It would certainly be a big draw even today.

As for the porn thing -- another factor is that it simply would carry greater shock value in the early 90s than it does today. That is just a culture change. I personally think it was a boneheaded move by Mr Edward regardless.

Not relevant given their inactivity but a GOOD album of hard driving music would gain attention from the non vhlinkers. Youngsters today are listening to 70-80s music in tremendous numbers these days.
    Record it....they will come.

Sorry but you are year late and missed "the beginning" back in 78. Don't forget there's a lot more to the VH fan base than linkers... The last few years VH and former members have been putting thousands of butts in seats touring and only a small percentage of those fans need to get a life away from the interweb.

It would be cool, I think all us old guys would be in heaven. But I agree, I don't think VH could hold the main streem any more. Now it's all this Linkin Park CRAP! but it would be cool if I was wrong.
