Default Question about Take Me Back

First of all sorry for my bad english, i'm from Isreal..
Now for my question, do you see any resemblance between Take Me Back
and the song of Led Zepplin, Over The Hills And Far Away? 'cause i played over the hills on the guitar, and then i started playing take me back and one of the riffs sounded so familar that it was wierd...

    Yes.

Just like 'Sucker in a 3 Piece' from OU812 is dangerously similar to 'Down Payment Blues' from AC/DC.

'PleasureDome' from FUCK is like a cross between 'Immigrant Song' and 'Achilles Last Stand'.

And don't forget about 'Celebration', errrrrrrr, 'Best of Both Worlds'.

How about "Dog Eat Dog" by AC/DC and "Panama"? Didn't Dave point that out on his radio show?

When I first heard Achilles I was in denial. It sounds more like a straight cover with different words, with the Eddieisms added of course.

Actually Ed said that Panama had a definite AC/DC influence, after touring with them and watching/listening to them every night.

That was a tune called No More Waiting. Version available on the Magic Mountain bootleg live in 1977.

Eddie did use the infamous E, A, and D first position power chords for the chorus of "Panama." I'm surprised AC/DC hasn't been able to charge a franchise fee for those chords.

Have any of you heard "The Rock" by Atomic Rooster? The intro is almost EXCAT to the drum intro on "Little Guitars".

    Back to the original post...

Aside from both using an acoustic guitar for the intro, what do people hear that is similar in "Take Me Back" and "Over The Hills"?

TMB: Key of D. OTH: Key of G. There's the riff section which has a few similar notes, but I don't hear anything there that hasn't also been used in nine million other songs.

Be sure to look closely at your luggage, sir...

    Many drum beats sound alike.
