that was a kick tail show, I was fricken front and center, i could have reached out and touched the man. I was in a red EVH shirt standing next to a guy with a black shirt and EVH circa 1984 picture on the front of it. Amazing!

DLR
He sounded great. It was a similar show to last year here, as well as the SJ Grand PRix- but between getting to meet him, being up front, and having a camera- it made it that much better. They went from one rocking song to the next.

DLR
Most of DLR's between song banter was very familiar- but I had never heard the long story he told before Dance the Night Away about the drunk female VH fan in the Pasadena club. It was cool for him to say- "I was once in a band called Van Halen...." He spoke about them playing 5 sets per night, several days per week. I felt like I was watching VH1 Storytellers- DLR...
