Mike, I sat next to you at the Indy show. There were plenty of people there who were having a kickass time.

Well, we got hooked up with Backstage passes from TK, but they cancelled it. So we stuck around for a about 3 songs from Bad Co. It was pretty boring watching them after the performance Dave put on, so we took off.

I thought the crowd just loved him. BC must have had a heck of a time coming onstage after him every night.

I don't think the problem is people not enjoying the shows, as they really came alive at that show in '99. The vast majority of them was probably there to see BC, so that shows that Dave can get most any crowd going.

The problem is getting people to the shows. Most folks just don't think much of DLR without VH.

My friends, colleagues, relatives, etc... could give two shits for VH at this point. And I'm talking about the casual and non-casual fans!

It will take much work for VH to get back their fan base, particulary the non die-hards. And do not say it doesn't matter. Just ask the boys when they cashed their checks from the III album/tour.

Sadly I think the average Joe could care less about a Dave solo tour. Especially since there is no new music out there for Dave to tour for. Alot of people look at the whole VH, Dave, Sammy thing as just one big soap opera.
It's really a shame that 6 years ago VH was supporting Balance a number 1 album and made about 35 million on that tour but now it seems like everone could care less about anything VH related.
