VH,VH II,WACF,FW,DD,1984
I think it is just amazing when you think back like 20 somthing yrs ago
that we got a VH record every year for 6 straight years!!
Im 41 so for me it was just great time in my life!
It was just like deer season it came once a year!!
Its really to bad we cant get more than 1 album every 4-6 years from these guys....Tony

You guys are old.
I can only imagine what it must have been like to grow up in that era. To be a VH fan when they were rock gods. It really must have been a special feeling, and a rush that I'll never truly ever get to experience. You guys were lucky."It's always a Catch-22 situation. They hate you if you're the same, and they hate you if you're different."
~Eddie Van Halen~

I remember that era like it was yesterday and I miss it so much. I remember seeing them in Oakland in Oct. of 1980 at the end of the WACF tour. Fast forward just a little to June of `81 and BOOM! , they were right back in Oakland playing 3 nights on the FW tour. That was an awesome way to start out summertime.

wouldn't this be more of a past issue, than present future? either way, those were the good ole days for sure, and they aren't coming back for sure.
SOME VH LINKS CLASSICS
"Sammy is fat, Dave is bald, Mike is next in line to be the Pope, Eddie is a drunk, Wolfie is fat, Gary is gay, CVH is VH, Mike is VH, Sammy can outsing Dave on a tequilla hangover, Eddie is a meth head, How Many Say I is the worst VH song ever, Up for Breakfast is a close second, Dave was horrible at radio and everybody hates the assless chaps.
Ok I think that covers everything." Ziggysmalls
"I sense that some of our newer passengers may be nervous due to the sudden turbulence. Please be seated, this is simply a normal part of the periodic ride.
I didn't say we'll get to the destination, but until Alex comes out a says what a complete waste of carbon DLR is, we're still climbing, so strap yourselves in.
Those of you who have been on this ride before, the hottie in the mini will be around shortly with your drinks......." Red

Yep those were the days.
WTF am I talkin' 'bout ??? I got into Van Halen when I saw Jump on MTV back in 1984. At least I saw them with Dave in concert. Damn I must be out there like Pluto, or just a 5150.
ALEX IS GOD!!!
I've been doin' this for 'bout 20 years now, and I'll tell ya, to this day I still don't know the right drumstick from the left drumstick -Alex Van Halen

Look at most bands in the late '60's, '70's, and early '80's... Most of them didn't go more than a year or so without a new album and tour... It wasn't up until the mid to late '80's that band would go two, three, or maybe even four years without a new album and tour...
I wish I was a little older than 10 or 11 when VH was touring with Roth... I don't care if he sucked, kicked ass, or whatever, it just would've been cool to say I saw the original lineup...Jet City Super Stealth

The movie theater. Idk why people frequent them still for the very reason stated. I don't wanna be around people in an environment like that since the invention of big screen tvs. Some of you...
