Can you guys please help me, i', gonna buy a guitar from the internet, its used, not new, for about 530$

Is it a overprize?

Give me some thoughs why I should buy a Wolfgang Special anyway, whats good and bad about them, and whats the diffrence between them and the other Wolfgang guitars?

I have the USA and love it. I think the Korean has "EXP" in the name, if you need to know how to tell the difference.

If it's the USA version, than yes that's a good price. I grabbed mine for about 525, or something like that, and it's my favorite guitar. I like it better than my Wolf Standard, and I payed a ton for that axe.

I could go all day about the pro's and con's, but I don't have time cuz I'm at work. You can use the search option and look up old threads that we've had on the subject.

And you can go to www.harmony-central.com and read the many reviews on the Wolf Special.

Basswood body with either basswood or flame maple top
1 knob, Volume
Solid colors built in U.S., transparent finishes built in Korea

USA are Flame tops
Korea are Photo quilt tops with a Cheaper Floyd Rose
Also Eddies sig on the back of the USA necks are branded or burned into the neck!
The Korean ones have a decal of Ed's sig!

Well anyway, i've just discover another Wolfgang, and this is a begged Wolfie Standard, for AROUND - 900$ maybe a little bit les. SO i wonder, is it maybe a good buy to?


Should i stick with that one instead, please answer me guys, really anxious to know!

Stay away from the EXP!!

Pipe down, son. I've had two EXP's, and had to sell them both. They're both ok guitars, and can be used in a live setting, but once you play a USA model you'll instantly hear and feel the difference.

Damn this buying of mine seems to never end =)

I've found that Wolfgang Standard, which is Black and seems to be in good shape, for only 900$ its really good.

But for me, a important thing is that Floyd Rose, and i'll miss it bad on that Wolfgang Standard, but anyway, its so great quality, so I have a hard time choose.

Because I've found another Wolfgang Special for about the same price as the first one I found (but it was an EXP) this might be an Wolfgang SPecial USA, If It now would reveal to be a USA version, which one should i go for?
