Anyone catch the newest edition of the Amazing Race last night? Pretty good race through China. Nice suprise with eliminating two teams quickly.

I'm impressed that the woman who is missing a leg was able to climb the rope. She did that with only two arms and one good leg. Not an easy thing to do! My hat is off to her!

The Amazing Race: All-Stars Competitors

USA Today has revealed which teams from seven of the past 10 seasons will return for "The Amazing Race: All-Stars," premiering on February 18.

Only one team — Uchenna and Joyce Agu — was a past winner, in Season 7. But others are standouts: height-challenged Charla Faddoul and cousin Mirna Hindoyan; Joe Baldassare and Bill Bartek (the first season's "team Guido"); Rob and Amber Mariano, who parlayed their Survivor stint into marriage and reality-TV careers; and Kevin O'Connor and Drew Feinberg, amiable, bald best friends from Season 1. Also repeating the Race are two teams from the latest season: coal miner David Conley and wife Mary, and beauty queens Dustin Seltzer and Kandice Pelletier.

Also in the hunt: Eric Sanchez and Danielle Turner, who competed on separate teams in Season 9 but later became a couple; Oswald Mendez and Danny Jimenez (Season 2's "Team Cha-Cha-Cha"); John Pietanza and Jill Aquilino, a now-split couple from Season 3; and Teri and Ian Pollack, the oldest couple to finish as runners-up (she's now 53, he's 54), also in Season 3.

The 45,000-mile, 28-day race ended for the competitors on December 19.

That does it for me....I usually watch the Amazing Race but won't be watching this time.

The Amazing Race Returns November 4

CBS has cancelled "Viva Laughlin" after just two episodes. The show, executive produced by Hugh Jackman ("X-Men" films), will be replaced by the 12th season of "The Amazing Race" on Sunday, November 4 at 8/7c.

"If there ever was a season that I consider one of the best, it's this one," said Bertram van Munster, executive producer, director and co-creator of "The Amazing Race." "It's insanely funny, fast-paced and dramatic all at once. Teams are in hot pursuit of one another at every location and its reality television at its nail-biting best."

This season, teams will travel approximately 50,000 miles, covering five new countries including Ireland, Lithuania and Croatia

Jerry Bruckheimer, Bertram van Munster, Jonathan Littman and Hayma Screech Washington are the executive producers for Bruckheimer Television and Earthview Inc. in association with ABC Television Studio and Amazing Race Productions. "The Amazing Race" was created by Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri. Phil Keoghan hosts.
