My newest guitar
Had iit 48 hours now, and I can't say enough good things about it. The Joe Perry Epiphone boneyard.
Mahogany body
Flamed maple top
Mahogany neck
Gibson USA burstbucker pickups
I've owned a couple of Gibsons in the past, it's been a while, but I honestly do not remember them sounding as sweet as this does. The bursbuckers are just plain incredible, and have sustain to spare. The maple top makes it maybe the prettiest guitar I have ever seen. I usually don't bother with Epi's because I have had problems with them in the past, but I took a chance on this one and it seems to be a winner, stays in tune rock solid. About the only negative thing you can say is, no case, and for the really picky people out there, it doesn't say Gibson on the headstock, but the custom shop version is more than four grand, and this was eight hundred. Check out pics at MF, these pics do not even come close to doing it justice.

Wow, cool choice man. I love it when people buy stuff you don't normally see. Having said that, my MIA Telecaster is still kinda new.

Happy to hear you found a good one.
I'll have to try one.
I've been out shopping for a Paul and I have to say Gibson is still very inconsistant. I go into the music store and start at one of a row of pauls and out of 15 of them 1-2 are actually worth plugging in. The finishing of the necks are terrble, some nuts are too tall, others have sharp frets. Then you pick one up that they got right and it's great. The funny thing is the more expensive ones aren't generally better. I played a heritage edition that looked great, it was $4K and played and sounded like shit. I played a Epi Zakk model and it killed the heritage model. I played a standard and it killed them both.
I've found that the big thing I love about Pauls are their tone. Most of the necks I hate. I like the 57-59 necks. I'm glad that you like those burstbuckers, but for me I'm finding that I'm a huge fan of the old reissues 57-59, but they're fucking expensive. My Band

great looking axe my friend and im really glad u like it.
i've never been a fan of the "paul" myself the only thing that draws me to them is the sound everything else i cant stand, but saying that this model looks very sexy indeed and at the price advertised its probably well worth the asking price and like ive always said quite often the cheaper alternative quite often ends up being better than the originalhttp://www.facebook.com/Tommywho5150

I agree with what some others here have said too, a Paul can be difficult to get used to, but once you have it down it is cool to play, and the tone is great.
