Pretty cool. There was a nutcase band from New York called "Scatterbrain" in the eighties, that did a similiar version of "Mozart's Sonata #3" that was just as neat.

My 3 yr old heard it, walked by the computer & said "Daddy, is that boy playing guitar?" I say yes & he says "I like him." & walked off as quickly as he walked up.

I addressed this towards arrogance, in whatever form it takes. This kid is so humble he even covers his face with a baseball cap. Not trying to start a fight here but the G3 I saw with Satch, Vai and Malmsteen demonstrated a gulf of personality not to mention character and yes, even musicianship.
    Peace. Or something like it.

I don't really see the link between this kid and G3. The ultimate example of 'arrogance' or what you refer to is bending the guitar round one's (fat) arse, five times - during each song. Yngwie J. totally screwed up that show you can tell it from Satch and Vai's faces during "Voodoo Child" . What the kids has to do with it again? Can you play better than him?

I prefer Patrick Lukens, or whatever his name is, over that guy, IMO.

He's got some clips over in the guitar forums. Seems like a good kid. Can't think of his screen name, though....

You must have misunderstood my point. This kid is fucking great is my point and he plays in the same (roughly) genre as Malmsteen, who is NOT as good as this kid. My comment, harsh as it may seem, is addressed to my opinion of Malmsteen is that his sheer arrogance is unwarranted. He is not as good as he thinks he is. This kid wipes the floor with him.
And yes, I agree with you on that horrible throwing the guitar round his fat arse. The first time it looked almost cool but just became embarrassing after that. I love that concert but when it gets to the Yngwie segment I just turn off. He managed to ruin the jam as well at the end because he is not a team player at all. For some reason the guy just would not shut up playing and join in with the song. It's a shame that someone with his technique (was great at least) has not developed as a musician at all over the course of his career.

LOL! Dude sorry , we're in the same boat then ! I dunno I'd take even such dude as Batio over Malmsteen in terms of songwriting.
