Rob Zombie show with a little VH

I went to see Rob Zombie last night in a club in New Haven called Toads Place. It was a great fuckin show. Best this year by far. Him and his band came out all wearing these skeleton costumes, and even his wife Sharri was there dancing on stage. He opened up with American Witch, and played a good mix of tunes from his White Zombie days to his current solo stuff. Towards the middle of his set he was talking with his guitar player to discuss what to play next. He went on about how this is a night off from the tour he is doing with Godsmack and that they wanted to play some songs that they don't normally play. So they went in to the Eurithmics tune Sweet Dreams which the crowd loved. His band then went on to play the intro to Hot for Teacher and then right into Ain't Talkin' Bout Love. When it came time to sing he put the mic over the crowd and let them handle the first few lines until they ended the song and went into the full version of Enter Sandman. One other Vh moment was when the guitar player started out his solo by playing Eruption and ended it the same way. All in All it was a great show, packed house of about 1000 people and some kick ass music.
