HFT Live- 1984

I'm not sure where this is from (Dave's comments suggest it's outsde the U.S.)...anyway, what do you guys think of the performance? this is the umteenth piece of footage that I've seen of Dave from back in the day, and it makes me wonder why people want to see the orginal line up tour together 20+yrs later (I can't imagine he's gotten better)....

This is exactly the VH i saw in 1984, and the Dave I saw on the Skyscraper Tour, and in 1994 (or 1995), and in 2002.
It's the reason I'm so down on Dave being back with the band. It's not the music, it's this guys inability to perform.
As tired as the setlists got during the Hagar years, at least he could sing the songs, remember the words, etc.

just shows u dont know a GREAT BAND,when u see it!! classic VH was the best! van hagar was mediocre,,,,,,AT BEST!
