Already read it, cool stuff. It's good to hear Steve openly talking about his Dave days.

I used to have an interview on tape from Much Music from after Steve left DLR, and the interviewer says "we tried to get in touch with you when we visited the Skyscraper tour in Texas". Steve just stares at the woman and says "I was unaware of all press requests at that time". Sensing he was annoyed (and surely trying to get him to dish some dirt) the interviewer asks him "did Dave not want you being interviewed?". With the same stare and monotone, Steve repeats "I was unaware of all press requests at that time". He wouldn't talk about Dave at all.

That's cool. All I meant by the monotone, was the literal definition of it. He answered the question both times in a total "I don't want to talk about that, don't ask me again" flat voice. No inflection in his voice at all, like he'd heard the question too many times, and wasn't going to answer it under any circumstances.
