Brutal!!Is a word that comes to mind when one reads alot of the shit on this sight.I mean lets face Van Halen represents a attitude that know other band with an exception of mabye The Stones, has going for it throughtout their historic career.
This is a positive thing, I mean whatever your mood good, bad, depressed, VH's music seems to take your mind away to a positive place, clear of any bullshit, negativity, politics and other crap that seems ever to present in society today.
Van Halen has never claimed to be a political band, a band with a hidden message,a band that is hear claiming to help the world fix its problems, all they do is produce straight ahead music( with a hell of a punch) to the best of their abilities, and try to do what they think is their part of keeping the greatest form of music alive, and thats "kick ass rockn'roll".
This is musicianship at its best, great hooks and "positive energy" that is few and far in todays music and as fans I think or at least hope we all agree on this, but based on some of the assholes on this forum I am not so sure.
We are talking about that greatest band in the world here and yet I read posts where people get out of control.This is VH links and its a forum to talk about and voice our opinions about the music, whats going on now,comparte singers, or snare sounds Ed's sound, whatever the case we all have different opinions and that is what makes for great reading.
However when we start taking shots at Ed's health or some of the bands past or present private lives, it gets outta control,there are dicks on here that are even takimg shots at Val for Christ sake, how mature is this? Are we all fucking perfect on here?What if Ed's health is bad or not as bad??Lets be grateful for this man's health to this point as well as the other members past and or present.
I have also, as I have said before found there are quite alot of fucks on here who are phonies, and this could include some forum frontmen possibly.Some loser today accused me of being some b2k and some other names today, they said these guys were kicked of the site for being pricks in one form or another or having a attitude??Well you can check quite a few topics on here and see there are alot of people that thing they are the man and their shit don't stink, they blast me,Eddie italy, some Blue/White17 guy and yet they are on here still??
Bottom line here, why don't the forum moderators get their rules sraight, if they have favorites, send them the fuck away,if they want to sit their like cowards and let some losers push people around on this site who have nothing but negative vibes to pass
on, then mabye they should front a Nirvana or Creed/Pearl Jam site, because that ain't what Van Halen and their fans are all about!You know what the atmosphere is at a VH show lets keep it that way around here..
