Eddie given props from Claudio Sanchez(Coheed and Cambria)
Hey all
Stumbled across this interview from the lead singer/guitarist of Coheed and Cambria. Gives mention about Ed and his guitar skills
"Claudio: A lot of people, anyone, just watch t.v. or watch a good guitar player. Look at Van Halen, he's an amazing guitar player and I'm nowhere near that, and I don't think I will ever be... honestly. I guess I do for my instrument and for what I do, and they are for their instrument, and what they do. I guess it's just like two different worlds, but there are just a lot of great players, and it's just hard to name every one."

Well I guess it's not Claudio the mechanic eh?
I actually heard these guys and they weren't that bad. Only heard one song tho and I can't even remember the name of it, but it wasn't too bad.RIP - Classic Van Halen

They've been around:

Good Apollo is the best. Lotta good 70s/80s influences (Maiden, the Cars, Thin Lizzy, Zep, Floyd, Crimson, a lttle VH) some good riffs, melodies, harmonies (even if it's all Claudio), and way conceptual, if you're into that kind of thing. I think the drummer kicks ass and while Claudio's own assessment that they can't compete with the likes of Ed is accurate, to this reporter's ears they
can play and are very promising.

Yeah that video is fantastic. Chris has been so under the radar for the last few decades, great to see him getting some recognition and attention via this.
