There was another post on this somewhere, but no shame in plugging the mighty VH for the mighty Patriots again.


I was listening to the preseason game on Sirius Saturday night, heard ATBL being played after Corey Dillon scored a td. It did seem to fit in well. Guess they're trying the song out, too, besides kickers and other positions.

I was at the game Saturday, and they were alternating them after scores. The Van Halen section was the riff and the HEY HEY HEY part of it. PERFECT if you get the whole stadium into the HEY HEY HEY. Fucking ditzy cheerleaders were just dancing around though - they could have for once been useful and gotten out there and did something with the HEY HEY HEY's.

The 1812 Overture was surprising how well it worked - especially when you factor in that the Pats have two groups of Minute Men that shoot off their guns after scores. They were trying to time it with the music, it was pretty cool. Kind of like what the cheerleaders should have done with the Hey's.

None of the others was worth squat.

Although I DO NOT like the Pat's...the Flyers used this as an after goal song for a few years and when the whole place sings "hey hey hey" it kicks ass.
