Default 'The Departed' -- new Scorsese movie

Has anyone seen the previews for this movie? It looks awesome! The previews feature a cover of "Comfortably Numb" but I don't know who's singing it. I know it's not Floyd's version, but it's not bad.
The movie has Jack Nicholson, Leo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg and was directed by Martin Scorsese. I saw the preview online at Yahoo movies. Check it out.

The trailer looks really good for this movie. It's actually a remake of a Hong Kong movie called Infernal Affairs.
As for the version of Comfortably Numb, it is Van Morrison with The Band from Roger Waters:The Wall - Live In Berlin album from 1990.
    The song ain't dirty
It's really just the way we sing it

Thanks for clearing up the "Comfortably Numb" thing.
I knew it was a remake of "Infernal Affairs" but I don't know how good that movie was.
From the previews it looks like Scorsese is finally BACK!!

Me either. It's getting good reviews. Interesting premise too - even if it is a remake of a japanese flick. An undercover cop in the mob and mob mole on the force. Plus, Nicholoson as the bad guy??? Can't miss. It's about time for a good Scorsese film...

I thought Gangs of NY was rad, and it featured an UNBELIEVABLE performance by DD Lewis...

I read an interview with Jack Nicholson in Rolling Stone and he talked about the movie. I haven't wanted to see a movie on the big screen in a long time and this is one I want to see.

which preview of the movie did you see? I only heard dropkick murphys playing in the background for the ones I saw. But this should definitely be a good movie. I loved Gangs of NY.

There's a trailer in the Yahoo Movies section. It's unbelievable.

I've been hearing that this movie is as good as "Goodfellas." Now THAT is a bold statement. Goodfellas is my favorite movie of all time. So, think how that makes me feel.

I saw it last night. The only other Scorsese I've seen is "Goodfellas" and this one is just as...errm...good I was really impressed with DiCaprio. Nicholson was hilarious and the most insane I've seen him since The Joker. Hell, everyone was great. I think "Goodfellas" may have had better written characters overall, but this one feels a little more real. The plot unfolds so smoothly, but avoids predictability. And, like "Goodfellas," the murder scenes are often a surprise. This has to be the best movie of the year so far. See it!

That's ironic since Goodfellas was based on a true story and this is a remake of a Hong Kong movie.

Yeah. I mean, growing up in Italian family, I know we are all characters, but EVERYONE in "Goodfellas" is memorable. In real life, not so much...same with "The Departed." I'll remember it for Jack, but nobody else really stuck out like Pesci or DeNiro or Liotta, etc...

I saw it yesterday. I don't think it's as good as "Goodfellas" (IMO), but then again, what is? But I loved it. DiCaprio did an awesome job and I thought he did the best job in the movie, but everyone was great. Jack was Jack, he's never bad. A pleasant surprise was Alec Baldwin. I thought he was great, very funny. The movie has enough twists to keep you on the edge of your seat.
I might even have to see it again. I went with a friend of mine yesterday, but now after hearing me tell her about it, my wife wants to go.
