A question for the guitar heads.

Is Little Guitars, the song, not the intro, as difficult to play as it sounds? I mean, the rhythm sounds like it would tie your fingers in a knot. I wish I could've seen him play it to see what he was doing. The last part of the song is crazy.

well the rythmn part is finger picked/plucked. but chord wise not to difficult.

the ending is overdubbed , its on two seperate tracks. one is the minature guitar and the other one doing the big pick slides is the frankenstrat.

chord and technically its not to complicated. its the picking and plucking timing and tempo that makes it tough.

He's plucking 16th notes on a 2-chord progression.Only the top note move while the bass is the anchor.

Nail on the head. The chord structures are easy but the picking is the hard part. I had to force myself to learn how to 'hybrid' pick (using your last three fingers and normal picking technique simultaniously) to do that song but it was well worth it. Now that I have the technique down, I use it all the time. It was one of the most valuable things I've learned to better my playing...

Pick up the tab book and you'll see, with a bit of practice, it's not that difficult...

The thing that always confuses the H out of me about tab is that they tab out "dissonant" strings, or should I say random strings that the player might have hit in the moment but really shouldnt be in the tab.

Thats what I found from the tab of Little Guitars that Ive looked at, its almost impossible for me to read it
