Very Cool/Simple Way To Thank Soldiers

This was sent to me and is a very cool yet simple way just to say thanks to the thousands putting their life on the line.

If you go to this web site, www.letssaythanks.com, you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second. Wouldnt it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them

I just sent the link to a bunch of family and friends. I currently have a brother in the Middle East somewhere on the aircraft carrier - the Enterprise C.V.N. 65. He's a nuclear reactor officer and is due home sometime in November before Turkey Day. Here's to my brother and all fellow service men and women for a safe return...

Very cool and I have sent one off. My daughter is a aviation mechanic in the Navy. She's going to be going off on her six month tour soon, and should be home for leave this time next year! Praying God keeps her safe.

I sent one off as well but forgot to come back here. Oh well.

I also passed it on to others as well. It was tough to pick one card cause they were all so cute.

Another easy thing you can do is to find out where your closest drop off location is and put together a care package to send to the troops. Here is a link from the Illinois site that lists many of the items the soldiers request:

I try and send stuff every few weeks. Simple everyday stuff we probably take for granted can really help them out......but I also throw in some copies of VH cd's too

(don't tell the RIAA please
