Question about DLR in Indy

Hi, I live in Southern Indiana and want to go up for the show next month, I guess it is the Indiana State Fair. I see that he is going to be there with STYX. Does anyone know if Dave will be doing a full set? Opening or Closing? I would hate to drive for two hours only to see a half set. Any help that anyone can give would be great!

I don't know anything about the Indy show, but you ought to consider going to St. Louis, if you aren't already. I live in Evansville, Indiana and I'm going to see him in St. Louis (actually St. Charles, just outside St. Louis) on August 15th at a small club. It will be a great place to see him up close. Not a bad seat in the place. Just an alternative to the huge outdoor venue that you might want to consider...

When I went to a STYX/FOREIGNER concert, Both Bands Did a full set, and even though STYX has sold less and is less popular (As was evident at the show) they closed. They seem to close all the shows when they tour with another band (AS is the case with Kansas, REO speedwagon, and FOREIGNER). Id imagine this would be the same.

Dude are you referring to the PNC - New Jersey concert much earlier this summer? I was at that too, and I agree, Foreigner was the more popular and exciting draw, but Styx closed. By the way, I doubt DLR will do a full set at this indy thing. probably like 12 songs. my guess

HAHA dude I was there and thought it was an awesome concert! Foreigner definetly blew them away, although styx had a much more expensive setup it seemed. YOur probably right about the 12 songs now that I think about it, I took a look at DLR's set, and it is rather lengthy or a 2 part concert. I still bet that he would open.

Have you been to many shows at the Ameristar Casino? I've only been there once. I didn't get the message that Dave's show was cancelled and showed up anyway. I was sooo bummed because that "Bottleneck Blues Bar" seems like a very small, intimate place to see a band. Anyhow, I'm just wondering how far ahead of time you should get there to get a place up front?

As far as meeting up before the show, that would be cool. I plan on being in that little bar next to the entrance of the Blues Bar drinking with my wife well before the doors open.
