EVH MXR/MXR Flanger?

Anyone get the EVH MXR yet? What do you think of it. Mine is on order and won't be in for a couple of weeks. But I see the stores have them in stock.

I have a question about the controls on the MXR Flanger. I notice alot of people have posted how to set it to get a great VH sound. However, I read that if the "width" knob is turned on, then the "manual" knob does nothing. The Manual knob is only activated when the "width" is turned all the way off. Is that true? Or does having the width and manual dialed into 11 o clock really matter?

picked mine up yesterday, it's cool better then most flangers but i'll admit it doesnt quit have that.... machine sound like cradle had.. a lil dissappointed but it's cool

on "cradle" he was running the flanger through a wurlitzer electric piano , a vintage marshall head , load box , power amp , flanger , then a vintage marshll cab.

so its gonna be hard to get that sound.

i think the evh flanger is just repackaged mxr flanger with a switch for the "unchained" flange.

ah no dude I know what Ed used to make that sound on cradle, just saying that the MXR is the best flanger on the market PERIOD. But yet I just expected more raw I guess then flange, but it's the best one on the market
