Van Halen-izing your whammy bar
How do you set up the tremolo arm on a Wolfgang to swing freely like Eddie's does? In my Wolfgang manuel it says something about the tremolo spring pocket, but I'm not sure what that is.

My Wolfgang has the screw in type whammy bar...all I do is screw it in all the way and then back it off one turn and voila... it swings freely.

Coming from underneath (the back of the guitar), it would appear you can adjust the arm's tension by going in between the springs. Can you remove one of the springs to get a clearer look? Accoring to six's diagram, this looks to be the case. Originally Posted by cam-5150
