Eddie possibly phoning Stern

On Howard Stern today they were talking about getting Eddie on the air via a phone call. They did mention the porn stuff. I don't think theh had heard it yet. Gary just got off the phone with him said that maybe Eddie will call on the air in a week or so becuase he's got a lot of stuff going on right now. Gary did say Eddie was talking about the criticisms on the new material. Gary said that Eddie said, "If I do stuff with the band they bitch, if I do stuff outside the band they bitch. You can't win." That's not exactly was he said, but pretty close.

Then Howard and the crew got into a huge debate over who the top five guitarists were.

I caught the tail end of it. Did Artie run in to Ed in LA last week? I missed the begginning, I was waiting for a thread on this. If anyone can update this, please let us know.

lol...Nice to see Eddie is checking out the forums. I wish people would stop whining so much. Just be happy with what we get. If you don't like it, so be it, but accept that Eddie is a different man than he was even a few years ago. His tastes change, his playing changes, etc. Not everything he makes will cater directly to you. I don't love the porn music, but it is still in my playlist and better than almost everything else I've heard in the past few years. Ed, if you're listening...just keep kicking ass and forget the whiners. If it's good, you'll have a following, even if you lose some people. Life is too short to worry about what everyone else thinks. If you think it's quality, chances are others will.

I hear ya, man....This place sometimes pisses me off with so many people that hate everything he does,I dunno why those types come here so much...(They don't seem like fans, just people stirring shit..)
Some peeps don't like anything and expect VH to be like they were in 81,and won't accept any change or experimenting or fuck all.

It's so true. I mean Ed and Al have done nothing but treat us fans with the utmost respect!! Just check out their official website! Clearly, the fans are at the fore front of their thoughts at all time!! Being a fan is one thing, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't tell them how we feel when it comes to some of their negative bullshit.
