Yes. I know its not his best work and maybe I am starved for anything, but I was not expecting a lot out of soundtrack work.

Horrible 80s riff, not a song. I'm so tired of that sustainer pickup. I think Ed could walk away from that guitar and the same thing would come out.

Sorry, I just don't think it's even a medocre attempt from Ed. Just my opinion.

The fact that it's a the score for a crappy porno only adds to the embarassment.

Yes its a porn soundtrack, its not his "masterpiece".
Would you expect him to put his future so called "masterpiece" on a porn soundtrack anyways?

I'm just happy he is still playing.

I agree. He's in a rut. Can he ever get out of it?

I don't think it takes a thing away from the amazing career he's had.

To me, it's not a lot different than Jordan with the Wizards. I just don't want to see that with Eddie.

The music is pretty much average. Like somebody posted in another thread, Eddie is just going through the motions to me now. It's almost like he doesn't even take music seriously anymore.

As for the porn aspect, this is STILL Eddie Van Halen. Whether it's for a friend or not, to me, that's sinking pretty low down in the musical mud.

Maybe I've got a bad attitude towards it because of the porn factor, but IMO for the first time in Eddie's musical history, an average musical effort from EVH is now merely average.

I guess I just want something impressive and innovative from the old master, not this kind of thing.
