Default A Word to the Wise

This post has been brewing for a long time and today is the day I feel it is time to call "bullshit." All these comments about former/present members of this band are rather distorted. I have seen various forms of Van Halen 11 times and solo efforts (a.k.a. David and Sammy) four, I only mention this because the focus of all things concerning this band should be the music---live concerts offer us, the fans, the ability to hear the music in it's truest form; these concerts show I was afforded that opportunity.
At what point did the fans begin deciding the fate of Van Halen? If my memory serves me correctly this band directed itself quite well prior to the introduction of the internet, I am sure most readers of this site could list the volume of records sold, the number of sold out tours and assorted other information that could be used to quantify the success of the band---some of it as simple as cranking up the Mighty Van Halen in one's bedroom and escaping some of the bullshit that life imposes.
Secondly, when did the "Soap Opera" element supercede the music. What percentage of the post's directly develope thoughts about the music as opposed to "mindless worddrool" comments about superficial shit like how drunk Edward was? May I remind you that if you took the last six songs this band recorded and veiwed it as the direction a full album would have taken (regardless of it was David or Sammy) it obviously shows the strength and potentcy available despite lack of support from their label, a capable managment team and perhaps a producer who was truely willing to take a risk and invest himself in the band.
Lastly, I apoligize to the band for perpetuating some of this bullshit. The bond between the band and it's fans has eroded over the last ten years and it can be attributed to lack of trust. Change is inevitable, growth of oneself or one's craft cannot be obtained without change (both parties need to remember that)--- trusting that any change insures the evolution of the band is paramount.
The future of Van Halen shall be directed by Alex and Edward, however, even they would admit that they alone do not control their destiny. They have tapped into a musical well, that in my humble opinion has yet to run dry. No outside influence can compromise that potential if one absolutely invests trust in it. The musical landscape today is starving for a true Rock N' Roll Band, they have already done it once why not again?
    And somebody said Fair Warning!!!!!

You say that the fans comments are distorted, yet you basically say the bands future is basically distorted.
