Check this out. I found these numbers at a radio research place's website. I thought it was interesting to see the influx of Van Halen spins around the time we all thought the "reunion" was going to happen. Looks like I'm not the only radio freak who likes VH either!

You have to take in all his ballad shit that gets played on the night-time "love" shows.

"we've got tonite, lets make it last, lets find a way, turn out the light, come take my hand now, we got tonight babe, why don't you stay"

Ok Eddymon - you know the lyrics a LITTLE to well. Although - Bob did produce some hard (for his time) material.

Bob is cool. Not as cool as the Mighty VH but still cool none the less.

    Scott,
I grew up listening to him since my dad was a huge fan.

My point was that Bob gets played on a much bigger variety of stations from classic rock to adult contemporary to easy listening and so on.

"Still The Same" remains one of my favorite songs of all time.

"Van Halen is 'Get the fuck off the sidewalk if ya don't like our drivin' kinda music!" - David Lee Roth

"We get to the hotel, there's people partyin' in the parking lot, people gettin' down in the elevator, wow! I swear to God I had this one chick, this chick was poundin' on my door, she was kickin' and screamin' at my door 'til about 6.30 this morning. Finally, I just said, 'Fuck it!' and let her out of my room!" - David Lee Roth

I was just joking around with ya Eddymon.

Actually I thought American Storm was a fucking great album! Like a Rock is a classic ballad.

These are listed for US classic rock stations and how many spins they gave these artists this past year. I am 99.9% sure that it is a survey from the classic rock stations involved in this research panel. It is supposed to represent how classic rock stations would rank the artists based on airplay.
