Iggy Pop

Brook played a new Iggy video somewhere and it got me on a kick.

Brick by Brick '90 CD has been in the car and house and back again since last week. Something about that record on random shuffle makes it even better.

Listened to CD Raw Power '73 but the '97 remix (by Iggy) in the car today. Sounded like shit, but it always did, and it's still awesome.

Dug out some old tapes and listened to various sides yesterday of Blah Blah Blah '86, American Caesar '93, Naughty Little Doggy '96, Avenue B '99. I fell away from Iggy back then sometime after '99.

The new one, Every Loser is on now and it's a rocker. Sounds really good. Iggy is 75 and Chad found time to pound out 7 tunes with him. Listening to that with Amazon on the home stereo.

I tried to click the post reply to IGGY POP but it wouldn't go through it's too hard it keeps crashing & have to start over again. Maybe this one will work if I'm quick.


I saw IGGY POP live in concert at the Commodore in Vancouver in 1996 when the new album was Naughty Little Doggy. IGGY'S hair was dyed blonde at the time. Not sure if Homeboy was the new hit song at the time or not but he played it that night.

I'm not really a big IGGY POP fan. I don't have any albums or know much about him or his career output but like a few tunes.

I like IGGY. There's a cool funny video of him singing with his Parrot. I like Parrots too.

BUT-....Oddly enough, as fate would have it....HIS......Is my theme song of life.....
