Explain this one to me people...

How can you say Hagar is out to promote his album through negative Van Halen publicity? Put yourself in his situation. If someone asks you in EVERY SINGLE INTERVIEW you do "What's up with the Van Halen crew?" at some point, yes, you ARE going to answer them. Yes, at some point you ARE going to throw them a bone to get them off your back. At some point you ARE going to give the best information you have. His reluctance to say anything at all has been shown in interview after interview. Sammy with VH is over and done with.

It goes without saying that the recent Hagar info may be as unfounded as the existence of aliens who only come down to visit buck-toothed white trash hobos. But hey... don't blame the messenger. If he said nothing about VH, you'd blame him for not spilling the inside info. Now that he has, you still blame him.

Blame Eddie's dumb ass for keeping you in the dark... not Hagar or anyone else who tries to turn the light on for you.

The thing is, if Sammy answers 50 questions, and only one (the VH question) gets transcribed and put on a VH website, that's not Sammy's fault. And it doesn't prove that he's dying to talk about VH and the VH situation. I seriously doubt that Sammy manoevers all of his interviews around so that he can talk shit about Van Halen.

The point is you believe what you want to believe and shoot the messenger when he delivers information you don't want to hear.

Barney the dinosaur could have his children dance to Dance the Night Away tomorrow morning, and Roth fans would come out carrying torches claiming its a sure sign he's back!

Yet Sammy Hagar... a former member of the band... and big name in the music business... has information to the contrary... and he's wrong.

I think the Up Front Fanatics People understood my point. Of course... its in their best interest to understand it. From what I've gathered they're diehard Sammy fans.

That the whole DLR comment topic would have been dead if coercing on the part of the VHND hadn't occurred, since Sammy has better things to talk about.

Hell, if it was that important, he would have said something when he dj-ed that station the other day.

naconajnix, you see this would be a topic worthy of the Opinions Forum. Please try to put your threads in the proper forum.

Why are you so willing to believe that Sammy has inside info? Because he was in Van Halen? Doesn't mean a damn thing anymore, and trust me buddy, if there are legal ramifications why the reunion isn't being announced (which you'd have to be an idiot to not realize that could be a HUGE issue), someone in the VH camp is not going to risk a lawsuit or worse by spilling the beans to Sammy. So no, I don't think Sammy has inside info at all, but see that's just my opinion, as full of idiocy as it is.
